MEET THE CHARACTERS

Hello employee #1001. Here is your briefing on the crew members that will be travelling with you on the surface of mars to embark with you on your inaugural mining expedition. We wish you the best in efficiency and maximum profits.

- Solarus Corporation Employee Orientation Program

Tom "Core" Keeling: A once prominent political figure in America, Tom spent most of his political career lobbying for Solarus Corp. However, leaked information reached Tom's desk one day, source unknown, linking his employers to unethical research practices on the surface of Mars. Working in conjunction with this mysterious benefactor, Tom now works on Mars, operating a digger as cover to investigate and uncover indisputable evidence of his employers' practices. When asked about the change in position, Tom simply explained he desired a life away from the spotlight.

Daisy Kutter: A Texan beauty, Daisy always dreamed of moving off world and operating the heavy diggers. Making due with was available, she cut her teeth on major mining operations on Earth before her first big show on Mars. She's full of adventure, and wants to get rich on the mineral wealth so she can retire before she's 25.

Demitri Ubekov: Demitri is a former Olympian turned driller after an accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Once a proud, multiple gold winning skier, he turned to Solarus Corp as a means to promote the ideals of his country in another way. Serving Russia's purpose, furthering their progress in the advent of space travel and uncovering powerful ancient minerals is but one small way he contributes.

Ivana Korlov: A raven haired vixen once employed by the government as a secret agent to infiltrate powerful corporations and report their activities. When the Russian mafia came knocking, offering untold wealth for her to join Solarus Corp in their excavation of mineral wealth from Mars, she couldn't pass up the offer. Working directly for the mafia, Ivana seeks personal wealth while making Solarus Corp and it's dirty-money investors more powerful than many small nations.

Karl Redden: Karl's family was born on Mars. He was the first generation born to the facilities there and was raised to be the next great Digger. With the weight of his family heritage on his shoulders, he pushed harder and deeper than any others had before. Known for his total lack of respect for safe practice, he quickly became one of the most well respected and wealthy diggers in Solarus's corporate history. Until his unfortunate accident that left him stranded well below the surface.

Ana Banketik: A promising young Russian geologist who took on the dangerous career of Mars digging as a means of furthering her own research. She's a fiercely intelligent, driven woman with a passion for discovering new minerals and finding innovative ways to process them for advancing the plight of humanity back home on Earth.
