The
Epic War begins...
Braid kicks ass...
Gamers get their own Bill of Rights...
It has come, there is no denying it:
The Epic War is upon us. Quick strategy and careful planning will lead your armies to victory.
Braid was released a few weeks ago on XBox Live Arcade, and since then it has
enthralled people with genuinely unique gameplay, original design and deep atmosphere. A platformer-puzzler with time-bending twists, it's incredibly fresh feeling and fun. The developers have also generously elected to
provide the game's assets for anyone to play around with. Kudos, Braid, for keeping the independent games scene
alive and well.
No longer do we, gamers of the world, have to suffer from maltreatment by the hands of the greedy gaming corporations.
The Gamer's Bill of Rights has been drafted and holds with it supreme authority, ensuring quality and fair treatment for the gaming brethren... Not really. None of that is true. But it's interesting anyways.

Bowja, the cute little ninja sol'ja...
E3 Begins, the big three begin to brawl...
Fallout -- Duck and Cover!...
Bowja The Ninja 2 - In Bigman's Compound, the game might not be what you'd expect. Quirky clickin' adventurin' with the red little warrior feels fresh and fun.
Microsoft's Press Conference on the first official day of E3 announced some whoppers. Huge XBox LIVE improvements (including integrated 3D avatars), the ability to copy full Xbox 360 games to the hard drive, every Netflix movie available from LIVE and they've revealed that
Final Fantasy XIII will be released on the 360 at launch. Ouch Sony, ouch.
Nintendo fought back with
Wii Motion Plus, a plug-in device for the Wii Remote which enhances precision and responsiveness to the remote's movements. Now maybe we can have a real swordfighting game on the Wii? However, hardcore gamers are seemingly disappointed with Nintendo as there are no new announcements about their more serious franchises.
Sony shows off price drops of a bunch of their greatest PS3 titles, and shows off trailers for
Infamous,
Resistance 2,
God of War 3 and
Massive Action Game -- a squad based multiplayer fragfest with up to 256 players fighting together.
Also showcased was a
quirky 50s style intro and
several minutes of gameplay for Fallout 3. I've been a Fallout fan since
the incredible original, and seeing this trailer sends shivers down my spine, great work Bethesda!
Warning: Fallout 3 is for Mature audiences only.- Read/Post Comments -
